At HRiA, we believe that good health is a right, not a privilege. Everyone should have the opportunity to attain their full health potential regardless of socially and physically determined circumstances.

So, how do we as a society attain health equity? How do we ensure health and safety in the places where we live, work, and play? How do we ensure equitable access to information, fair distribution of resources, adequate investment in biomedical research, and empowerment of citizens?

For HRiA, health equity is where policy, research, prevention, and health promotion come together. We work at the junction of these approaches helping state and local governments, communities, neighborhood coalitions, foundations and others whose needs intersect our mission.
