2011 Smith Family Foundation Scientific Poster Session

On May 24, The Medical Foundation Division of HRiA organized the 10th Scientific Poster Session and Dinner for the Smith Family Awards Program for Excellence in Biomedical Research. Thirty-one Award recipients presented posters at the meeting which was followed by dinner and the presentation of the Smith Family Foundation’s $65,000 Prize for Outstanding Scientific Contributions.
This year’s prize was awarded to Bernardo Sabatini, M.D., Ph.D., HHMI Investigator and Takeda Professor of Neurobiology at Harvard Medical School. This prize is given every other year to a former Smith Family Award Recipient who is selected by the Program’s Scientific Review Committee.
