Annie Rushman is an Associate Director on the Research & Evaluation team at HRiA. Ms. Rushman has extensive experience in policy analysis, public health program development and evaluation, and Medicaid policy and operations. She has worked on numerous projects applying the public health lens to health care, both at HRiA working on a CMMI-funded project that built the business case for community health workers, and at MassHealth and RI Medicaid developing projects through data analysis to drive progress towards the health care triple aim. She also has experience in substance use disorder research, policy, programming and advocacy, as well in asthma, nutrition and environmental health. Annie earned a Master of Science in Public Health with a concentration in health policy and a certificate in environmental and occupational health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Washington University in St. Louis.
