Dr. Francisco joined the Policy & Practice team in 2019. She holds a veterinary degree from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, as well as a postgraduate certificate in International Veterinary Medicine. During her time there, she designed and conducted community health research on schistosomiasis knowledge, attitudes, and practices in the Philippines, as well as co-chairing the annual One Health Day conference in collaboration with medical and undergraduate campuses. Her interests include environmental health, community organizing, and health justice. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
