Jennifer Teabout serves as Associate Director of Training and Technical Assistance at the HAVI, a fiscally-sponsored program at HRiA. She is a recognized subject matter expert in the field of child welfare, and a race equity champion. With a passion for creating more inclusive and equitable systems of care, Jennifer has dedicated her career to addressing systemic disparities and promoting safety, permanency, and well-being for marginalized families and communities. Her expertise lies in developing innovative training and learning opportunities that are intelligently designed and easy to digest. Jennifer’s extensive research and practical experiences have earned her recognition as a thought leader in the field. Her curricula on promoting equity and cultural responsiveness across human service systems have become mainstays for training child welfare and public assistance professionals across her home state of New York, resulting in significant improvements in both the quality and productivity of discussions between social service providers and stakeholders, and the achievement of positive outcomes. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The State University of New York at Potsdam, and a Master of Science degree in Human Behavioral Studies from Capella University.
