Kimberly Randol

Coordinator, Capacity Building, the HAVI

Kimberly serves as the capacity building coordinator for the HAVI, a fiscally-sponsored program at HRiA. She has been interested in helping underserved communities since she experienced a difficult childhood herself as a young woman of color who was born in Panama City, Panama—a small country in Central America that has experienced violence for decades due to political upheaval and economic disparities. After earning a bachelor’s degree in global studies from St. Edward’s University and a master’s degree in writing from New York University, Kimberly worked for the American Red Cross during the 2017 California wildfires and for AIDS United, a nonprofit that serves people living with HIV, during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic. Kimberly is passionate about health equity and is committed to working with the HAVI to turn this goal into a reality.
