Michelle Jones-Johnson is Vice President, People & Culture at HRiA.
With over 25+ years of experience, Michelle has held executive-level positions in both public and private organizations. She has made significant contributions in human resources and talent strategy, diversity and inclusion initiatives, organizational culture enhancement, and leadership development programs. Her expertise spans across sectors, including healthcare, higher education, legal, engineering, architecture, and sales.
Michelle holds an MBA from Syracuse University, a master’s in organizational management from the University of Phoenix, and a bachelor’s in sociology from The University of Michigan. She holds multiple professional certifications including SPHR and serves on local and regional boards. In 2017, Michelle was appointed to the Governor’s Task Force on Hate Crimes for Massachusetts in 2017. Additionally, she is a proud member of The Boston Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, an international, not-for-profit organization comprising more than 16,000 professional women of color. Jones-Johnson is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, a sisterhood of predominately Black, college educated women with over 1,000 U.S. and international chapters.
