Ms. Bernotas joined HRiA in 2017 as Development Manager. She has a diverse background in the nonprofit field, with experience in education and cultural institution management. Prior to joining HRiA, she worked as an economic and management consultant to nonprofit cultural institutions, contributing research and analysis to support operating strategies and feasibility studies for museums, aquariums, and other community organizations in the US and abroad. She was also a student of Lithuanian language at Vilnius University in Lithuania and Russian language at St. Petersburg State University in Russia, in addition to working as an English language lecturer in Minsk, Belarus on a Fulbright grant. Ms. Bernotas has a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies from the College of William and Mary and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management at the Boston University Questrom School of Business.
