Tisha-Vonique Hood has over a decade of experience in coordinating community engagement and youth programs. She specializes in outreach, youth engagement, community relations, curriculum development, program development, strategic collaborations, youth leadership, and applied learning. As Program Coordinator for The 84, she helps foster peer leadership, educational training, tobacco use prevention, and community engagement. She also aids in program facilitation and coordination among other practices in Training & Capacity Building. Ms. Hood has completed the BEST Youth Worker Training; achieved a Yellow Belt in Lean Six Sigma through the City of Dallas, Texas; and, authored the academic publication “TEEN IDOLS: Cultural Images and Adolescent Behavior.” She resides in Boston, but is a proud Texas native, where she completed her graduate studies and honed her youth and community engagement expertise.
