Health Resources in Action (HRiA) partners with individuals and organizations committed to funding innovations that contribute to advancing health. Together, we identify a target niche and then implement a customized grant program. We use data-informed priorities and evidence-based approaches to improve community health.

Capacity Building

Strengthening the capacity of public health communicators

Public health officials navigate rapidly evolving information and heightened public scrutiny often while managing multiple responsibilities with limited time and resources. Some officials are new to communications roles, while others are adapting to new platforms, audience expectations, and a constantly changing environment. As a result, there is a shared demand for relevant, practical health communications training. The Public Health Communications Collaborative (PHCC) partnered with HRiA to address this challenge.
