Project Description:

HRiA is offering three learning communities aimed at staff and volunteers with local boards of health. Learning Communities will spend 5 sessions together, diving deeper into different topics. Each cohort will begin with grounding sessions in more advanced racial equity training, and then move onto additional skill-building opportunities with other participants working in similar roles. Individuals and public health grantee groups can sign up for multiple cohorts based on interest.

These learning communities are aimed at building practical skills in racial equity and will launch in January. They will be a series of five, 90-minute sessions per month focused on those working in three core areas of public health: Public Health Leadership, Community Engagement, and Inspections.

Below are the links to register for each racial equity learning community cohort. There are five total sessions for each cohort. Attendance at all five is strongly encouraged. You must register for each session individually.
