As Senior Manager of Training and Technical Assistance, Adrian fields training and technical assistance requests from cities and programs interested in implementing hospital-based and hospital-linked violence intervention programs, and other public health approaches to violence. In addition to training and technical assistance, Adrian also oversees HAVI’s member services and engagement, peer learning opportunities, and planning/coordination of the annual conference. Prior to joining HAVI, Adrian was the Lead Training Officer at Youth ALIVE! In Oakland, CA, where he supported programs and organizations to develop programming to serve the needs of male survivors of violence. He also staffed and coordinated the National Network of Hospital-Based Violence Intervention Programs (now HAVI) when it was under the administration and operations of Youth ALIVE! Adrian received his Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies and Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley.
