Amy Flynn is a Research Scientist on the Research & Evaluation team at HRiA. In this role, she leads data analysis efforts in the evaluation of a number of social service and health care delivery programs, such as the Si Texas program evaluation that examined integrated behavioral health models in the border communities of southern Texas. Prior to joining HRiA, Ms. Flynn worked as a Project Associate at John Snow, Inc. providing technical, programmatic, and administrative support to over 20 state, federal, and local public health projects. She also worked as a Research Assistant for a Boston-based hospital analyzing the effects of screening and brief intervention on adolescent substance use. Ms. Flynn has experience in both quantitative and qualitative research and analysis with statistical software including SAS and SPSS. She has a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Education from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
