Elizabeth Showalter is a Research Associate on the Research and Evaluation team. She is experienced in cleaning and analyzing large and small datasets, using SAS, SPSS, and R statistical programming packages. Ms. Showalter led the cleaning and analysis of complex survey data for the 2021 Statewide Assessment of Gambling and Problem Gambling in Illinois. She currently is involved in an evaluation of the impact of a Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center grant, focusing on housing, behavioral health, and jobs and financial security. She began her tenure at HRiA with the Sí Texas Evaluation Project, assessing integrated behavioral health models in the border communities of southern Texas. Ms. Showalter has a Master of Public Health degree with concentrations in social and behavioral sciences and biostatistics from Boston University School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from the University of Michigan.
