Natalie Cashin is a Senior Program Manager for the Health & Racial Equity team at HRiA. Natalie manages the Racial Equity and Leadership trainings for 18,000 City of Boston employees. In her work on this project, she developed trainings that all city employees will partake in, in addition to helping lead the onboarding of twenty consultant trainers and incorporating their feedback into programming. She has also led white affinity spaces for the Massachusetts Tobacco Cessation and Prevention Program, Mass in Motion, and the Mayor’s Office for Resiliency and Racial Equity. She has a passion for youth work and communications.
Originally from Kansas City, KS, Ms. Cashin moved to Boston for a post-collegiate service year program. During that year, she worked as an academic coordinator for an after school program in lower Roxbury. From there she went on to work as the youth minister at Trinity Church in Boston. Ms. Cashin has a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and completed a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication in May 2016.
