Stacey Chacker is Director of Climate and Environmental Justice at HRiA. She has served as Project Director of several initiatives at HRiA, including the Asthma Regional Council, New England Asthma Innovation Collaborative, and the Massachusetts Asthma Action Partnership. She is a leader on policy, advocacy, and research on environmental health/justice issues at community and governmental levels, including promoting sustainable financing for Community Health Workers. Ms. Chacker previously served as Director of Organizing at Neighborhood of Affordable Housing, leading community organizing campaigns to promote affordable housing, environmental justice/health, immigrant rights and youth development. Ms. Chacker was a Peace Corps volunteer in the Central African Republic, and has a bachelor’s degree from Clark University in Urban Social Geography.
