Susan Kilroy-Ames is a Project Manager for the Strategic Planning & Organizational Effectiveness team. She supports a number of projects where she provides her expertise and technical assistance in a variety of public health areas. She previously served as the Director, Epidemiology and Data Services at the Cambridge Public Health Department in Cambridge, MA, where she was responsible for monitoring the overall health of the city of Cambridge by tracking disease and identifying emerging health issues. Susan has extensive administrative experience and managed all previous regional epidemiology activities in Massachusetts Emergency Preparedness Region 4b. Prior to working in Cambridge, she served as the Executive Director of a small Boston non-profit specializing in community based asthma prevention. She previously served terms on NACCHO’s Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Food Safety and ePublic Health and Informatics Workgroups. Susan holds an MPH with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the Boston University School of Public Health.
