Tamaki West is Managing Director, Capacity Building Assistance at HRiA.
Since joining HRiA in 1999, Tamaki has worked on creative development, online marketing, digital and social media strategy development and implementation, and graphic design for a range of projects. Her topics of expertise include community water fluoridation, child health, substance use, tobacco prevention and advocacy, and youth marketing. She has led the MA Health Promotion Clearinghouse and several capacity building programs. Tamaki has a master’s degree in health communication from Emerson College in collaboration with Tufts University School of Medicine and a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan.
