Tina Nappi, MSW, LICSW, serves as the HAVI’s Managing Director of Organizational Growth and Equity. She brings 30 years of experience in public health, health care responses to violence, and programming that centers the wisdom and leadership of survivors of interpersonal and structural violence. Tina has designed, implemented, led, and evaluated health care-based violence intervention programs. She has facilitated learning communities, coalition-building and cross-sector collaborations. Prior to joining the HAVI, Tina worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston for 14 years, serving as the Director of Passageway and managing an Office for Victims of Crime demonstration project that framed violence as racial justice and health equity issues. Tina has provided subject matter expertise and consultation to several academic medical centers in Boston, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Conference of Boston Teaching Hospitals and the Health Care Working Group of the Massachusetts Governor’s Council on Sexual and Domestic Violence. A licensed clinical social worker, Tina holds a Masters in Social Work and Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University.
