Tina Nappi, MSW, LICSW is the Director of Organizational Growth and Equity at the HAVI, a fiscally-sponsored program at HRiA. For more than 25 years, Tina has been committed to work that centers the safety, well-being and self-determination of people impacted by interpersonal and structural violence. As an advocate, program director and consultant, she has worked to advance equity, trauma-informed/healing-centered practices, and public health responses to violence at several hospitals, state agencies, and domestic violence and sexual assault organizations. Tina has designed, implemented, led, and evaluated healthcare-based violence intervention programs. She has facilitated learning communities, coalition-building, and cross-sector collaborations. Prior to joining The HAVI, Tina managed a demonstration project at Brigham and Women’s Hospital to strengthen victim services, address vicarious trauma for providers, and uphold a racial justice framework. A Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Tina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Masters in Social Work from Boston University.
