Tracy Kelley is the Director of the MA COVID-19 Community Grants Program in the Training and Capacity Building (TCB) department at HRiA. Before joining HRiA, Tracy served as the Director of the Wôpanâak Language Reclamation Project (and continues to serve there as a language instructor) and Director of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Youth Department. Tracy was born and raised on the unceded territory of the Mashpee Wampanoag where she lives her purpose through youth work, Indigenous language reclamation and community-based projects. She primarily focuses on youth development, culturally competent teachings, and intergenerational healing through language. Tracy earned a Master of Science in Linguistics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and English from University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
