HRiA has provided grant-making support to MGH’s Center for Community Health Improvement since 2014. Funding awarded through the Smart Choices program is focused on addressing the priorities identified in the Community Health Needs Assessment and Implementation Plan. The Smart Choices program is designed to strengthen the capacity of agencies located in Charlestown through grant-making. Interested agencies apply through HRiA’s online application system whileHRiA facilitates the review committee decisions and works with MGH to manage the disbursement of funds to successful awardees.
