Daniela is a Bilingual Screening Information Specialist with the MA, VT and IL Helplines. Prior joining HRiA, she worked as Behavioral Therapist serving Spanish-speaking children and families and worked at an Adult Education Center supporting the language needs of the immigrant community of Boston and the Greater Boston Area. Daniela is a Volunteer Interpreter at KIND (Kids in Need of Defense) where she provides interpreting and translation services for pro-bono attorneys and their clients. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a certificate in Community and Medical Interpreting from Boston University. Her professional and personal experiences shaped her commitment in using language to lower barriers of access to services.
