Ilana Raskind

Senior Research Scientist

Ilana Raskind is a Senior Research Scientist at HRiA. She has extensive experience in the academic and non-profit sectors and is skilled in research design, data collection, and advanced quantitative and qualitative analytic techniques, including geospatial analysis. She has applied these skills to diverse public health issues including food insecurity, tobacco control policy, physical activity, and adversity, trauma, and resilience. Ilana is deeply committed to achieving health equity through relationship-building, multisector collaboration, and community engagement. Ilana received her PhD in Behavioral Sciences & Health Education from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Stanford Prevention Research Center.
