Jermaine Belcher serves as the senior coordinator for policy and advocacy at the HAVI, a fiscally-sponsored program at HRiA. He joined the organization with over twenty years of experience providing advocacy to communities impacted by violence and trauma. Prior to joining the HAVI, Jermaine provided staff development and coaching to direct service providers and strategic planning to tribal nations to help them maximize funding streams for the delivery of services to rural populations impacted by violence. Jermaine has extensive experience in trauma-informed care and has facilitated trainings for law enforcement and health care staff on best practices for serving and engaging victims of violence. Jermaine earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Management from Concordia University of Wisconsin.
