Amanda Irizarry is a Senior Program Manager on the Training and Capacity Building team at Health Resources in Action, providing program management for The 84 Movement and FDA Tobacco Compliance Check Program. As a Philly native, Amanda has dedicated the last 12 years of her personal and professional life to ensuring every young person she meets feels seen, valued, and heard while creating spaces that empower youth and marginalized people groups to understand the individual power and collective impact, they hold to shape the world around them. With an expertise in positive youth development (PYD), youth-adult partnership (YAP) and public health advocacy skills, Amanda has worked within the tobacco control field as a social innovator and champion of young people for 9 years.
