Claudia Zavala serves as strategy and impact manager at the HAVI, a fiscally-sponsored program at HRiA. Previously, she served as a research assistant at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, one of the highest-ranked universities in Peru. In this role, she conducted a study examining predictors of psychological growth in marginalized communities impacted by trauma. With a long-standing passion for social justice and equity, she is committed to furthering intersectional, healing-centered approaches that center community wisdom. Claudia received a bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and is currently a master’s student at Columbia University.
