Kaycee Friend is a Community Outreach and Engagement Associate for the Oregon Helpline at HRiA. She is a certified alcohol and drug counselor and recovery mentor, and has worked in outpatient and residential treatment settings in Oregon for the last 5 years. With experience in behavioral health systems, as well as more than a decade of lived experience with substance use disorders, Kaycee brings passion and deep understanding of the challenges people with substance use disorder face. By combining her expertise in behavioral health systems with her personal journey, Kaycee cultivates an environment of empathy, support and resilience. She is passionate and committed to destigmatizing addiction and making the world a better place.
