Tamaki West is a Managing Director of Capacity Building Assistance at HRiA. Since joining HRiA in 1999, Ms. West has worked on creative development, online marketing, digital and social media strategy development and implementation, and graphic design for a range of projects, including those focused on community water fluoridation, child health, substance abuse, tobacco prevention and advocacy, and youth marketing. She leads the MA Health Promotion Clearinghouse and several capacity building programs. She has a master’s degree in health communication from Emerson College in collaboration with Tufts University School of Medicine and a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan.
