Welcome to celebrating 30 years of Excellence in Biomedical Research. 36 awardees from both the Smith Family Awards Program for Excellence in Biomedical Research and the Smith Family Odyssey Award for Biomedical Research Program will be sharing their groundbreaking work in areas such as cancer, diabetes, and neuroscience, as well as in basic biomedical science and in physics, chemistry, and engineering.

Following dinner, Emily P. Balskus, Ph.D., the 2022 Recipient of the inaugural $250,000 Richard A. Smith Excellence in Biomedical Research Alumni Prize and 2011 Smith Award Recipient, will present her research.
